If that is the Landy I think it is, then I have raced against it at Hyden once. Actually we were LAPPED by it at least once, so 'racing against' isn't the right term....The sound of that Rodec at 6500rpm is just magical.... Copped an earful each time it blew past us. It was usually driven to an event, came 1st or second outright against buggies aswell, and then driven home again.

(Edit: yes it is the one, number 888, Ray Y's old beast. A legendary machine )

    Yee Haa

I also raced against the green weapon many times and even had a drive. Ray Snr is a legend.
At that time there were three road registered 110 350 chev racers in class eight. We all drove to the events and ususally drove home.
The most memorable moment was coming back from somewhere in the wheatbelt after a slightly traumatic weekend in a landrover roadtrain. Our landy at the front with only front wheel drive towing Ray Jnr on the a frame who was in turn towing a car trailer with the green landy on it. Ray Snr was driving our landy, and being Ray a towing speed near the limit seemed appropriate.
    Fantastic people and times.

    Cheers
Try Howard at race brakes yarraville melbourne
Are you suffering fade, lack of braking power etc??
What master and or booster is the 110 running?
If its still a county there is an improvement to be had using D1 booster and master
    Pads condition?, fluid condition?
Braided lines make a big difference (to feel) especially on live axled rovers.
I don't know if anyone in Perth has a brake dyno but that's a great diagnosis tool not often used.
    Good topic, thanks for posting

Does it have the 46mm calipers? Some have the smaller 41.3.mm pistons.

Is has good brakes for a landy,I have bigger cross drilled rotors and Kevlar pads on it.
But was hoping to get it to stop a little like my ve ss ute if possible

If I hold the brakes down as hard as I can , and flatten it ,the brakes won't hold it. Not saying that that is a problem but just wanna stop a bit quicker on the road
