Thread: 110 RUST PROOFING

Never used it but it seems to have a good reputation and it comes from Canada where rust is a huge problem...

Needs to be reapplied every year.

It may be a PITA to work on the car with it applied (stays semi-liquid).

I usually use fishoil or lanotec - however would be happy to use that stuff if it was free.


How to apply: (I assume you will be using a compressor and degreasing gun)
You need to get it inside every cavity. Just pick each hole in the chassis and spray a heap in there in all directions.
If you aren't too precious about the car drill a couple of holes in the very top of each door frame (on the inside) so you can get it in right from the top down.

What he has left is actually crates of the stuff in Aerosol cans. Thanks for the tip. I am a bit precious at the moment, its only a couple of weeks old :0. Gimme some time and that will fade.

The same stuff comes in aerosol cans or tins. It is hard to get as much penetration with an aerosol can inside the chassis and firewall, but it still should do the job if you are careful and use plenty.
