Thread: help. Widening offset of wheels?

    Sorry but isnt the track measured to the centre of the rim? Therefore a wider tyre on the same width rim as stock which changes the offset up to 50mm is perfectly legal as long as the total width, diameter or rolling radius change doesnt exceed the legal requirements....

    The way I read it (VSI #9) in NSW you are allowed up to 25mm track increase or up to 26mm wider than the largest wheel recommended by the manufacturer and for the total wheel and tyre change, no more than 15mm over the largest diameter.

    FYI I ran 265/75mm on a 0 offset king rim for ages and had no problems at all....

    Yep, sounds right to me.
