    LoveB,

I understand that it's through the Land Rover main dealers underwritten by Allianz (as is my comprehensive insurance).

Lots of very, very fine print and it covers very little other than major catastrophic failures...

    Cheers,

    Lou

I bought a policy a few weeks prior to it becoming unavailable. It was an exact repitition of the original warranty but for 2 years and was organise through Southern Cross LR in Toowoomba - undewritten by Allianze. This former policy, contrary to the later one offered, had no fine print, as in it covered everything the original warranty did.

The replacement policy was as Loubrey says - next to useless.

They probably ceased offering it because of the amount of claims on it - mine paid for itself many times over.

Extended warranty is back on LR website, with Allianz
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

Despite living just down the road from you in Wandi, I don't think I've come across you yet. My 2012 Puma has also not missed a beat, and I also love this thing!! It's also the first new vehicle I've ever bought but I would say I'm getting happier with it, rather than "as happy", every day since I drove it home from World of Wheels in Albany.
