So sometime around June next year I will take delivery of a new 110 Indus Silver wagon. The other part of this is that we have until the build commences to make any changes to the contract.
Got mine probably from the same dealer in Perth.Only difference mine 110 c/c pickup .Took just over 6 months. Delivery was pretty close to what they promised. Could of got a wagon at the time in 3 months.

    Thanks for the insights!

As much as I would love a 90 mine will be a 110 wagon in Keswick green with a fuji white roof if I get my way, or barolo black if swmbo prevails.

    Either outcome works for me

Anything different planned for the MY14 spec that you noticed on the features / options list? I heard a rumour (on the internet, so it must be true!) that ESC was planned for MY14.

I don't suppose you got any hints about production end dates? lol
Excuse my ignorance but I'm interested in buying another defender before they expire....................what's ESC mean??????????????????

    Cheers Paul

Well, ours is Keswick, but after a substantial amount of difficulty, we have been able to organize an Indus Silver roof, which whilst not being appreciated by some forum members, we think, will fit in with what we are looking for.

Colour is always a matter of personal choice isn't it.
We've chosen Keswick for our "90", because we think it's sort of the "classic" Landrover colour.
"Black"?....With respect, I'd NEVER have a black car.....geez, though don't they look sensational when they're new, but I'm lazy, just too hard to keep clean...IMHO of course....bought a S/H black HDT Commodore years ago....it was black.....but I just had to have it.....but it was a big job keeping it pristine.
On the other hand, I have a mate who has a black Toyota Landcruiser...uses it every day for his business, & keeps it IMMACULATE, I've never seen it with even dust on it, he washes it a couple of times a week, says he finds it "therapeutic"!
So I reckon your wagon would be great in Keswick, & the optional white roof would be pretty close to the "Limestone" colour (I think) they used in the "old days".
    Cheers, Pickles.

The dealer didn't have much information about any changes to next years models other than to say that they hadn't been notified of any major changes.

They didn't know when production was going to end other than that once all the build slots are full they will be told to stop taking orders.

Yeah that's it - but as I found the claim in a forum on the internet the usual rules apply...

You did read that I may have "limited" choice in the decision...

Yes colours are a very personal thing, my preferences are keswick or santorini black, but each to their own! On the other side of the coin I doubt I have ever looked at any of the factory colours (current and legacy) and thought they looked bad. Even the yellows

I'm not known for keeping my cars clean, so no matter what colour mine ends up being I will take a picture of it as I drive it out of the yard, and that will likely be the last time it will ever is without mud on it.

Keswick green is the only colour that seems to make even a brand new car look 10 years older. At least when I look at it. Maybe it just adds character?

I'd rather have a black one than not have one at all
