    130 Lift Kit?

Hey guys I know this has probably been asked a thousand times before but... I did a search and nothing came up that I was after...
I'm after a lift kit, or separate components to lift my 2010, 130. Am looking for something decent (as always)
I'm coming from a SWB Patrol that had a huge lift and 35" tyres and locked. I just want a lift that will pick it up a little so a 2" will probably do (all that's legal now anyways)
    Cheers
    Dan

Lifting a 2010 defender is possible but a potential world of pain, more than likely you will need a double cardon shaft, drop your sway bars and move them forward change your radius arms and ideally your trailing arms.

I had a 40mm lift and I ended up doing all of the above and still had a few unresolved bugs.

Terra-Firma do some good kits (4 springs, 4 shocks) from about $640. You can up grade shock to TF Pro Sports or the big Expiditions and springs to their heavy duty versions.

Try these guys, easy to deal with and sponsor this site

Be aware that if you lift a PUMA you will need a Double-Cardon front prop shaft. The static angle of the front shaft at stock height is right on its limit. With a lift it will bind at full drop and vibrate from 80km/h on wards.

    Thanks guys
I was speaking to one of the guys at Ricks 4wd centre today at Nerang and he said that a 40mm lift is about the maximum without changing a lot... He was only using king springs which concerned me.
Might try some bigger rubber and see if the lift is necessary.
I wouldn't mind keeping the heavy duty springs in the rear as at the moment it's rated to carry over a tonne. Pity about the front drive shaft, double cardon jacks the price up pretty quick

    Body or spring lift?

A body lift is difficult and unnecessary on a 130. AFAIK there are no off the shelf kits.

Spring lifts have been done, however you need to have a read of the threads on lifting a puma, in essence you need a DC front prop as the standard prop binds easily when lifted.

That said, you can fit up to 37's without any lift.

Was talking spring lift, do you know what offset rims you would need to run to fit 35" ? And sure they would scrub on full suspension squat

I run 4" portals on stock height suspension and I think I could just stuff 37" in there. 37" on stock suspension would have no travel......

This is a 35" with 4" portals heavy duty springs and no load.....

I've got 33's with a 50mm lift and had to change the stock flares because excessive rubbing on the rears. Oh and they stuck outside the guards.
