    Hi Komaterpillar , I did read somewhere about a feller who brought a new 90 and he didn't like the way It drove or handled , It turned out to be the tyre pressures were all over the place one on the front being very low , like many he just assumed they would be right being brand new . That's bad pre delivery . cheers jimr1

    A LR mechanic advised my to check fuel filter for water because he had heard / saw this with new defenders. He was scathing about the petrol cap that actually can let water in through the key lock divet.

    I didn't do it because 1. I am hopeless and 2. I was so excited

    But he thought it was paramount

    give the air intake plastic cover on the drivers side a wobble, see if it falls off before you drive it home, mine fell off in the first week. Lucky it was in my driveway .
