Great looking truck mate. I looooooove the Keswick green. I just keep seeing them and it rubs in the ache of waiting until next year when my 110 is delivered.
Enjoy!

Expecting it Friday 13/12 (not sure if that is a bad omen). Delivery is subject to the transport from Victoria. I'll need to get a blue slip and transfer rego in the immediate future.
I sourced a steel tray (1800 L x 1900 W), which will be a temporary solution until i settle on the set up. Now that I get it a few weeks before the Xmas trip and it has a tray I'm motivated to get it prepped for the trip and take the new toy instead of the 110. To make it suitable for a 14 day touring trip I need a canopy as a minimum. Choices are a frame and canvas or an aluminium slide on canopy. I'll probably go the later since that is integrated in the eventual set up.
Even though I can't afford it before Xmas I'm hoping to bolt in twin lockers. I won't have time or the money to swap over the suspension before xmas. I'll bolt on the 33" muddies and it should be a ready for a little tough play.
To say i'm excited is an understatement. I've even planned to put christmas lights in a tree down the front so i can put the 130 under the christmas tree.
cheers MLD
now there is something I'm quite curious about..
The saw tooth rims I love them they look awesome on your car and I want a set also, however can anyone confirm they are rated to go on the 130 because I don't believe the boost alloys are.
Our Land Rover does not leak oil! it just marks its territory.......
Aaaawwwww thanks john hahahhahahah
I just like the look of them practicallity wise our cars going to be a tourer so they just need to be strong and look good
to be honest I would take 22" rims over the good awful white steels you get with the 130 I think they are horrendous..and if I have to get those on a new 130 then I will be having them pulled off and painted black!!...I cant stand white rims let alone ones that look cheap and nasty despite how practical they are![]()

How are placed for tomorrow? Pics to come hopefully. I sent an enquiry to the dealer on the Thursday after you bought it but never heard back from them. It is a great looking vehicle.
Delivery is expected for Wednesday next week. There was a delay bolting on the tray and some explanation about a new PAS pump because the tipper required a modified PAS pump. They have to fabricate mounts to suit the defender. Some progress photos i received last night.
The tray was bit of a mystery. I bought it sight unseen and based on the photo in the earlier post. I didn't appreciate that it was as customised as it is. Upshot it is robust and will cope with use and abuse it's destined for.
With the delay and limited days to xmas, not a chance to do ay work on it. I think i'll even struggle to get the rego transferred before i go away on 2 Jan. All else fails the 110 is equipped and ready to roll.

Bling tray matches the bling rims! It does look pretty sturdy, maybe blacken the chequerplate on the mudguards and underbody and it'd look sweet! Needs a spare wheel mount too!
