    110, 4 door ute

    Hi all,
I am looking at buying a Defender 110, 4 door ute. I've heard that the rear seats are very uncomfortable for adults, is this correct?
Also does the canvas tray cover let a lot of dust in?
    Thanks.

Too funny. The Puma rear seats are borderline comfortable. The 200/300Tdi and TD5 rear seats are a chiropractor's wet dream.

Dust will find its way into every nook and cranny of any car, more so in a Defender. It's part of the defender charm and you don't have to pay extra for it.

For what's it's worth you don't buy a defender for comfort, dust prevention or any other matters of comfort and good manners. You buy a defender because it will take you to the places others admire on postcards and you are part of a small fraternity of nutty but dedicated souls.

It's not the gap between the cover and the tray that will let the dust in, it's the huge gaps between the doors and the frame...

I have a 110 dual cab p/up..seats are no better or worse than the front seats just a bit more upright, leg room is a bit of a problem though, but Ive had 2 big blokes in the back they survived. Dust getting in the back not really a problem surprisingly . driven down dusty tracks no more dust in the rear than what was inside the cab..roll the rear flap up then you will be shovelling it out..the old panel van effect sucks it in..
