    Powder coating Brisbane

Need to get the ARB Bull Bar sand blasted and powder coated,as the original coating is coming off.

Anyone had this done in the Brisbane area,if so where and approx costs.

I believe Ben at APT Fabrications does powder coating. If it's anywhere near as we'll orchestrated as his fabrication work he'd be a safe bet.

Don't know the cost, but Global Powder Coating do an excellent job.

I had an ARB winch bar done about 2.5 years ago, had a lot of rust under the old coating around some holes that had been drilled for spots. I delivered it, had it blasted, zinc primed and coated gloss black, the bar, plates and various brackets, can't remember the exact cost and have since sold the disco2. Cost was a bit under $200. Can't remember the guy but am pretty sure they were in Amanda Prde , Banyo. I thought the job was pretty good.

Not assuming anything, But it seems ARB bull bars have a problem with rust and powder coating

    I recon you are correct.

    I do know a guy at ARB,maybe i will give him a call,after the 6th.
The bar is only around 4yrs old,so i think i will get the cold shoulder...

The powder coating on the bars on the same vehicle fabricated by ATP,have a much better coating.

As we all know most ARB bars are made in Thailand,so i suppose the quality may have suffered.

I have used both Global and APT for blasting and powder coating jobs. Both are excellent
