    Wheel Help Needed

    I am fairly new here and I need some help. I am wanting to upgrade my old/rust/heavy steel wheels.
    Found some for sale for $500

    Alloy Wheels,full set of five, no tyres, 16x7 Original Chromadora,

    I am currently running BF Goodrich AT 235/85R16 (I really don't know what all that means!)

    Firstly, can I fit these onto my '94 Defender
    and, will my tyres fit on these rims.

    Thanks

    Do you know what vehicle the alloys came off? If it was a Disco 2 then they will not fit your defender due to the different stud pattern.

    They look like Boost Alloys

    They are 16inch and factory fitted to the newer Defenders so should fit no worries. Done well for $500

    235.85.R16

    235 = 235mm wide

    85 = 85% of 235 which is the tyre wall height known as the profile.

    R16 = 16inch, which means fits 16 inch rims.

    As others have said, they look like Boost mags off a late(ish) model Defender.

    If so they will fit your truck and that tyre size. To confirm correct stud pattern you need to measure the centre to centre distance of two adjacent wheel studs on your truck and two adjacent wheel holes on the mags. If they're the same then the wheels will fit (and are most likely Boosts).

    There's no speculation, they're defender alloys, they'll fit.

    Also, your tyres are stock size for those rims anyway.

    Thanks guys! You've been a big help. Reading this forum and now getting your replies/answers makes owning a Defender EVEN greater!

    I'll let you know how I go with the wheels.

    If you want to use the fancy wheel nuts that come with the alloys then you mad need to change your studs in the wheels. I think the steel wheels are 5/8 and the alloy studs are 16mm.
