Thread: Chequerplate on Deefer - worth it?

The 4.3mm ones we sell are more than up to the job of being stood on, as is the bonnet plate, i would not go for anything less that 3...

A loud crash in the early hours of Monday morning resulted in my spending a couple of hours swinging the chainsaw around. The chequerplate has sustained some damage, a decent dent, but I'm pretty sure it would have been worse on the fender without it! I'll follow this up with a photo of the chequerplate damage later. I'll also try and measure what thickness this plate is.

Owch!!

I put black anodised plate on our TDI, as I wanted to avoid reflections you'd get off mill-finish ally.
