Yeah, I'll be having a quiet toast tonight - with a Kilchoman of course. I'll make sure its at 7:30.

A sad day for sure, but we should be grateful it lasted as long as it did.

    Cheers,
    Jon

As someone on here has said, the line is to shut at around 7.30PM our time, so I'll make sure that I'm sitting in Gracie, having a drink!
    Pickles.
I'll have to have an early drink at 4:30pm over here in the West. A very sad day, but at least the last looks like it is the right colour - Grasmere Green

That picture is both fantastic and utterly heartbreaking. I'm so grateful to have been in a position to buy one of these machines this year.

Long may each and every Defender live on

As a Land Rover devotee , and having owned many series , and Defenders over the years . This a sad day for me as well , I like the comment from Pickles about sitting having a drink at 7.30 . It may seen a bit childish , but sometimes I never did grow up , lol I was given a bottle of Red when I picked up my 2015 110 from the dealer. This would be the perfect time to open It . So I will raise my glass to the end of something I've been the part of . The Land Rover Story !!.. Cheers everyone ... Jim

Certainly a turning point in LR's history. Whatever replaces it, it can't be the same. Let's do our little bit to ensure that Defenders stay on the road for as long as possible and keep up the record that 70% of LRs ever built are still going strong.
