I'm with you there MrLandy.
There will be a market opening (pardon the pun) for sunroof blanks in the near future.
I'm with you there MrLandy.
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
They may be getting rid of excess stock, not 100%. If they estimate they need 15 spares and they have 19, 4 must go. The cost of warehousing can be significant
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

OK Sunshine Coast club are hosting it..
Hi all AULRO group,
This Friday at approximately 7:30 PM Queensland time an historic moment will occur at Land Rover Solihull. The last Defender will be built, ending a line of 68 years of production.
A few Sunshine Coast Land Rover club members decided that this event can not go unnoticed and we have decided to mark the demise by holding a wake. We will gather at the exact time that the production ceases of the last Defender and celebrate the passing of an icon.
Details of the event.
We will be doing a BBQ sausage sizzle as well as finger food and snacks. This is a joint event with British Off Road and The Sunshine Coast Land Rover Owners Club. We hope to have at least one or two models present through the years, Series 1 , 2 , 2A , s3 as well as the different variants of Defenders.
Who can come?: Open to any owners or in fact anyone with an interest in Land Rovers whether you have a Series, Defender, Discovery, Range Rover or Freelander as they all were ultimately spawned from the Land Rover.
Where: British Off Road forest Glen, Queensland.
When : From 6.00 pm until around 8.00 pm. Friday 29th Jan. ( Please try and come early as we would like some photos in daylight.)
What to bring BYO drinks.
Dress: Black for mourning.
Cost: This is a free event.
If you are keen to come please let me or Derek know by Thursday for catering purposes. Brian: brianwolthers@gmail.com Derek: barcrest4044@bigpond.com

Thanks Brian and apologies for getting the club wrong.
Congratulations on you and your team for making it happen. If I was a bit closer I'd be sure to attend.
Hope it goes well.![]()
