Lovely image Pete.
Limestone?...Well that would still be my choice, but mate, it's your vehicle, and I look forward to further "developments", & pics.
Martin.

SupporterMartin, mate not too sure about Limestone now... I think it kinda 'clashes' with the Keswick...
My friendly paint shop said he 'would take my money' if I wanted... but thought the OEM white looked better!
A few things do do in the next few weeks... then I may revisit this!...
Mr Landy... grill badge is from Gavin of Artmen designs in Ireland! Love it!
Thanks YOLO, reckon I'll chase one up, it looks great. ...Hey I reckon stick with the classic white. 😊

SupporterI just read an article claiming that LR are extending the manufacturing cut-off from December to end of January (and maybe later), due to the great demand for the last of the classic Defenders. Not surprising, but I was pleased mine was a December 2015 build, i.e. the last of them; it's a bit annoying there'll be 2016 build dates. Whether any make it to Australia is another story, I guess.

That article is 6 weeks old, and there has been no substantiation of that from Landrover.
There have been all sorts of "rumours" surrounding Defender,....production overseas, etc etc, but absolutely NOTHING from Solihull.
Not saying it ain't true, 'cause I've got no inside info, but it'll be interesting to see what ACTUALLY happens, as December draws close.
Pickles.
I suspect they pretty much have the right number of components in the pipeline, phoning around for more would not be viable as suppliers like Ford have their own commitments. Plus there would be plans in hand to demolish a vacant production line
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

SupporterIf anyone's interested I've just seen a Limited Edition Adventure 110 at Southern Landrover. I believe it is available as a result of a canceled order due to finance.

I just noticed this, interesting the range of specialist vehicles, if this is a LR focus for the Defender, the future looks good.
