Grrr, that really irks me. For every car mothballed in a hanger, there's someone who missed out on the opportunity to own and love one

Irks me too as they are so nice to drive. Mine even got caught in quite a significant thunderstorm on Sunday, luckily heavy rain & no hail - amazingly it stayed dry inside! Here he is with his older brother which would have needed bailing out in similar circumstances:

Oh the first world problems of the Defender elite! ...I can't get my preferred colour at the last minute to go with my leopard skin couch! Tantrum!

It's an addictive love that's for sure! I'd have a Heritage 90 if I had the moolah too. But I certainly wouldn't be complaining if one of my three! new vehicle orders was not in the colour I wanted!

Only in the land of nod.

Actually, my posts were not intended to be complaints or rants at all... I just wanted to share my experience and hopefully help someone who may have been impacted by these last minute unanticipated changes to end of production specs... this is a great forum to share information and help each other out ... I have learnt a lot from it - hopefully, my posts have helped rather than appeared as mere rants.
With regards to "leopard skin couches" , I am actually a vegetarian so no chance of me having these!

Who eats leopards? I thought they were killed either for protection of locals or as trophies (apart from the fact that 99% of the leopard skin couches today come from petrochemical plants not African safaris!).

We were told by our dealer that 1 person bought 6 of the Heritages to add to his collection and as he buys a lot of cars it was allowed. It was in another state.

It is very similar to colourbond river gum, blends in even better with the house as that is river gum & a light cream, now find the Land Rover:

Don't worry about MrLandy. His Indus is any colour he wants it to be. It's the quantity he's jealous of. He can probably only afford Leopard skin Jocks.
    Cheers, Billy.
