Depends what you are prepared to spend. Now that the standard 110 comes with a Bluetooth stereo etc the only real benefit of the SVX that I can see is the Recaros. Personally I would buy a new standard 110 and slowly modify it and have a 3 year warranty. If your budget won't stretch that far I reckon you could get a 2012 0r 2013 model still under warranty for low 40's. If you have a family go the 110 though. The SVX were very pricey new. The seats alone are a $5000 option.

I love the little things like interior touches ... but black ? honestly in Australia ? The hottest country in the world ... black ? Shows every bit of dust every scratch ....

I am with carlschmid2002 , there are better prepared Land Rover Defenders out there for that money.

Had my SVX since new in 28 and love it.

The Recaro's are superb ! The black does show the bush pin stripping, but the black car and heat argument doesn't hold water for me.

Not saying black is as reflective as white or silver, but how much hotter this translates to .......

SWMBO silver Focus seems just as hot after sitting in the sun as my SVX does. The temp difference would be negligible !

    And black looks the goods....

The SVX is a great truck. The Puma 2.4 engine in principle is extremely reliable, and IMHO there is no replacement for displacement....
But 105.000 km is already respectable, but no problem provided that the truck has been used with respect, and has had meticulous maintenance. If you use/treat these trucks with respect, they can go on forever.
This one here sounds like it went thru some serious usage, and you have to question people who are modifying the engine (EGR removed, so maybe other things done too....).
There is some rust too, well my SVX has 67.000 km now, and is totally rust free. I would seriously inquire around how this truck has been used, check all maintenance invoices and stamped service book, and inspect the entire truck inside and out, including the chassis. The general condition inside, including eventual damage/wear to the seats will give you good hints about the owner.
Now, the Recaros are worth their money in gold, they are just in another leage than any other Defender seats.
Hope it has not been used to drive in salt water.... Just looked at the other pictures of the truck, don't like the looks of the rear cross member, luckily it seems only surface rust which you can easily remove and then paint the rear cross member with a satin black. But question is how is the inside of that rear cross member, as well as the rest of the chassis?
    Good luck, Eric

SPINOFF: A black car heats up faster than an identical white car. (From Pilot 2)
    CONFIRMED
A fan wrote in and asked a follow up question: "Does the color of a car affect the way it heats up?". The MythBusters used two identical cars, one black the other white and left them both out in the summer heat with thermometers in both. By mid-afternoon the black car had heated up to a temperature of 135 °F while the white car topped off at 126 °F, almost 10 degrees cooler.

However that is only really 5 degrees Celsius... Not that big of a difference.
