I got mine for a 300Tdi from Ashcrofts, it was cheaper than from Perth, but I was also getting both boxes.
Freight wasn't bad either, although Kal is probably cheaper than Esperance for freight (marginally).

With a TD5 you will also need to replace the dual mass flywheel, From memory around $650 for the flywheel and clutch. I use Karcraft.

A genuine flywheel is closer to $900 just for the part. They are a pain in the arse to replace, so might not be worth taking a risk on a non genuine. I've heard of aftermarket cheap fly wheels failing quickly. You may consider a solid flywheel alternative - But again that might cause other issues that you don't want.

One other thing to check, is your harmonic balancer OK? They seem to go around the same time as the clutch/flywheel. (Again another $1000 part and getting very hard to get now)

I would challenge that figure, maybe from a stealer. I paid nowhere near that. Have just had a look and was $490 for the flywheel and $218 for the Valeo clutch kit. So around $700 total plus freight, just found the receipt.

    I agree with Craig.
I got mine from the same place and similar cost delivered to my door.
