Hi Guys (ctgiles84, Kelvin & Nino)

Sorry to hijack this thread but your info is invaluable!

Can you send a photo of where you mounted it in Defender?

The gear lever and high low lever on floor. Did you mean in front of that below the air conditioning button. How did you fasten it to the flimsy plastic there?

Researched the P3 unit and it can be almost vertical as long as it is horizontal. Does it get in the way of gear levers?

    Cheers Brad

The search function here is pretty clunky (normally throws up 20 pages worth when I search something) but if you trawl through all of the results you will normally gets results.

Have a look here http://www.aulro.com/afvb/projects-t...oller-d90.html it might give you some ideas.

I made that thread for this exact reason, some detailed info on running cables etc, but bear in mind that was just my method not saying its the best, there are probably other ways, just not many documented to give any idea.

No worries Brad hopefully it helps. Thats what I meant about the search function it seems a bit hit and miss.

You're right, it is a great network of knowledge here.

Few years ago towed our trak shak camper[well over a tonne]up to the daintree behind our chipped 130,pulled like a train.Mounted the tekonsha voyager on top of dash to right of steering wheel.Pulled out of a caravan park at port douglas turning right, had to get across in a hurry so wound the hair dryer up a bit and took off,bit of noise and black rubber on road
