    options for cargo door mounted LED stop light

    I'm looking at mounting a 3rd stop light in the middle of the cargo door. The options I'm considering are:
    • inside the glass (flush mounted) at the top;
    • inside the glass at the bottom;
    • outside of the door at the top above the glass; and
    • outside the door just below the glass.

    I'm probably leaning toward inside the glass at the top, but would like to hear opinions.

    thanks

    A completely different option is side emitting LED strip light. As the description suggests, the LED's point to one side of the strip, so I stuck some under the gutter above the door.
    I can't find the record of where I bought it, but from memory it was 90cm long and 60 LED's per metre. I probably got it on Aliexpress.
    You wouldn't even know it's there until it lights up.

    Cheers, Murray

    I did a search on Ebay, but there doesn't seem to be many on there Side Emitting LED Strip Red
