If you have not seen this before, Tim does an upgrade kit.

has all of the bits you need without having to splice into any wires. Hardest thing about this is finding a place to fit the monstrous relays he uses.

    Cheers Glen.

    Hi,

The original post by Dervish has got my interest but sadly the circuit diagram post at photobucket is no longer available.
Is there some other way to get a copy.

    Thanks

    Oldie

Here you go, but honestly Tim's kit gives you all of the bits, plugs lugs, relay's and saves you tapping into the original wiring.
The hardest part is finding somewhere to mount the big ass relay.

    Traxide kit fitted

Just fitted a Traxide upgrade kit to the Perentie….had LED inserts, but not impressed with them really. The Traxide kit only took a few hours to fit and all done. Happy with the job, although I might look at upgrading circuit breaker as it seemed a bit ‘cheap’. Yes the Relay is a big bugger, it’s up next to the KLR accessory circuit breaker that I also fitted. Now to wire in a decent relay for the spotties…..

I have had the switch burn out on a 200 tdi and my daughter's 300 tdi but never on a Puma. One Puma is 2008 and the other is 2011.
