Accessories for New Defender 90
Hi fellow defenders,
I have just ordered a MY15 Defender 90.
The accessories are clearly too expensive, so I haven't ordered any.
It's been 7 years since my last 90, so I need some help.
Can you recommend where to buy the key accessories? In Hills District Sydney...
Soft (non winch) bumper
Light guards
Tow bar kit
Ergo seats
Lockable cubby box
Rubber floor mats
Is there anything I should order from Land Rover as it's hard to get aftermarket?
Appreciate the help, it would take me hours and hours to research.

Supporter- Tow bar you can get the OEM part from LR parts for $400 and fit yourself, we were quoted $1800 as an "accessory"
- For lockable cubby option it would probably be worth looking at the exbox from Mulgo.
- Get the dealer to throw in the rubber mats for free!
- For the bumper and seats you might try Landybitz, a regular on here, think he does the occasional import from the UK and can source stuff from there.

I got lr tow bar, 800 installed, I think.
Watch out with light guards, there are lots of places selling the same thing for very different prices. I got mine from the UK.
Also got a winch bar from UK.
Floormats came as part of my package I didn't pay for them. Also got front mud flaps.

For a one stop shop in Sydney start at expeditioncentre (Mulgo)

On my 90 the first this I fitted was a aux fuel tank. Worth every cent, I now travel in excess of 1000 km between fill, rather than twice a day when travelling.

This sounds exactly like what I want to do with my 90.
60L seems small for a 4wd in my opinon. Standard range would be approx 500km (terrain dependent of course), and I'd love to get about 1000km out of full tanks if possible.
I'd like the security of more volume without having to carry jerry cans everywhere. Especially living outside of a larger city.

SubscriberMulgo does a conversion on the standard filler so you can fill multible tanks from the original position, no need to drill new holes in your panels. I think these are done on a change over.

I have both passenger and driver side belly tanks (ones imported from South Africa by Dolium) in my D90. Total fuel capacy is now 142 litres (original 60 litres + passenger 40 litres + driver 42 litres). I have separate fillers for each. Not sure whether you can fill the passenger side tank via the normal filler but Mulgo could advise on that. I do know that it is a bit slower to fill your driver-side tank using the 'splitter' conversion that Mulgo makes. Both the fuel pumps that come with my Dolium tanks packed it in after only 2 years!
