Thread: dry feet again!!

Finally found the leak in my 130.Turned out to be drivers flap not closing fully.Took it off,slightly dented in where bracket goes,refitted and closes tightly now.Been chasing that mongrel leak for years

I found an interesting technique for finding leaks on a Defender! Put the heater on FULL, shut all the doors and windows. Then with a wet hand feel around for air coming out. You'll find an awful lot of places that the air gets out of normally, such as the bottom of the door seals, but I found a small leak where the wiring goes through the bulk head this morning. I might try it next time with a smoke machine on the inside...
