300tdi coolant hoses
Hi All
I am thinking of renewing all of my coolant hoses and was wondering what brand to get or not to get and if silicone ones are worth the extra money.
Thanks

Get genuine,it's not worth the risk and buy from the UK.Are you doing a rad clean, thermostat, heater hoses, header tank cap, viscous hub or are you doing it half arsed?. Pat

Thanks Pat303
I put a new rad and viscous hub in 2 years ago. Going to replace all the hoses. Didn't think about the thermostat or header tank cap but will replace them as well. Try and get most of my parts from the UK depends on how quickly I need them. I am planning on getting some parts sent over and I thought I should get some new hoses at the same time.

With the thermostat make sure the bleed hole is at the top, most important, fill the motor via the header tank with the plug in the thermostat housing out, replace the plug with a brass one, when the coolant flows out fill the header full and go for a drive, get it hot and top up,easy. Pat
