Thread: defender 110 rear seat

has any one had any luck modifying or replacing the rear seat on a early 110? the back seam very low and unsafe.

Got this done to my 93. It is now only a 2 seater bench.

My 2 girls are old & very tall. When they sat in the std seats, they couldn't see out windows & had NIL legroom. Had an idea for a while but ran out of personal time before our last 5000k trip.

The outcome made it miles lower with a tonne of leg room. Very comfortable, my wife & I are now a bit jealous. It was spendy to do, but it's done right with a Qld Blue Plate & the old seat can be refitted if required. The chair is off the shelf, not from a particular vehicle.
