I seem to recall there is a thin hard nylon coolant line that runs from the coolant reservoir round to the radiator. That plastic pipe either rubs through or cracks if you look at it funny. Could this pipe be leaking and seeping down the shroud?
This weekend I decided to remove my intercooler and radiator from my 02 TD5 110 and give them a good clean. Put it all back together and refilled the coolant. Bled the system by the book and then fired it up. All good till I saw some coolant coming out from underneath the screwhole on LHS on top of radiator where the radiator shroud screws on to the plastic frame that fits behind the radiator. This is the first time I've removed the radiator but why would coolant be coming out of a screw hole that's basically a self tapper or have I done something wrong??
Can anyone shed some light on this?

No it clearly comes out the screw hole.
I find it rather extraordinary that Landrover would put a screw into a radiator that could possibly develop a leak??
I put some teflon tape around the screw and that seems to have worked, for now.

Either LR got the crew spec wrong or the radiator manufacturer got the hole depth wrong
Your fix could last the life of the rad and you are not the first to have this problem.
Some have used your method others have used many forms of epoxy and the really concerned have changed rads.
Whatever you feel comfortable with.
Don't worry about electrolysis. The screw retains plastic into plastic, so doesn't carry any current or make any circuit.
Never realised that screw was open into the coolant! That's ****ed... That Fenix All alloy radiator is looking an even better option now.
Well the teflon hasn't worked so I popped down to the local Landy mechanics. They reckon when you take the screws out you have to cut them down as they're too long. They get this all the time and they use some two part plastic filler which you can get from Repco or Bursons so that's what I'll be doing tomorrow.
I feel like getting a class action against Landrover for all the BS they put us through sometimes.
In saying that though, I'd never swap it for anything else.
