    Rear view mirror help

Hey guys silly question but been stuck on this all day. I've taken my rear view mirror out and now want to put it back in. Having solid dramas over it, the bloody thing will not go back in. Driving a 1999 110 and it's spring loaded, any tips or tricks to help me out

Just push the top in and push up and then push the bottom in all the way,
You just have to compress the clip at the top...

That is if you have a mirror like mine in the photo attached.

From memory, there are two spring loaded tabs that engage in the mounting block. I had to give the two pins a little touch of grease and then exercised them with a vice, as they had gotten a bit stiff with age. Once that was done it was still a bastard to get it, but much less of a bastard.

My 2014 110 has the same setup. The method suggested by Mike (90@) is the same one that I use and it goes pretty easy.

    Cheers,

If in doubt use more force. You'll get there....
