Thread: How to clean / paint headlight surrounds?

    I scrubbed both of mine plus the grill using hot water with LOTS of dish washing liquid, rinsed them off and let them dry, then used Armor All with a rag. They all look better than new. Also did the flares. I do this once a year.

    I agree with the armour all. It's amazing how well it restores black plastic. I used to put in on every now and then on the rubber bumpers of my 1978 MG and was asked a couple of times where I had got the new bumpers from!

    I just spray all my plastics with a silicone based tyre shine 😁 cheap as and do it whenever I was my truck. I spray my flares, tyres, rims, bullbar, grill, headlight surrounds and internal plastic with it. Comes up like brand new

    Cleaning Headlight Surrounds

    Thanks Micksta. Washed the surrounds and grill with detergent then applied the Armour All with a cloth.
    Magnificent !!!!. Like new.
