Pps I've ran the nanocom over it and there's no faults showing ... Swaped out the fuel pump relay( charged at one pin with another one(air con) earlier on... Ya think it could have cooked this one to?
Morning all , just wondering what you're td5 ( stock Ecu). Revs to ..I'm seeming to be loosing power on small hills( mounds really, not mountain accents) seems to be more noticable in 4th and5th gear...... Recently had new fuel pressure reg, injector washers and o rings and fuel pump( the dodgy cheep type to get me outa a fix ) .... Also new ome maf....
The pump seemed to quickly quiten down after inj washers and orings were fitted.
Any thoughts????
Ah ps the return line filter( in the housing has no filter gauze on it ( the lill insert outside rear of fuel filter
Cheers mark
( really don't need this right now , to many Drs and specialists appt's to get to and 35 km round trip from home to shop)

SubscriberWow! is it me? Am I the only one who has no idea of what your question is?
What has rev limit got to do with losing speed on hills?
In any case AFAIK the rev limit for a Td5 is 4500 and autos change at 4200 in a TD5 D2. I say AFAIK as I have never reached the limiter.
I fear this will not help as you seem to have a torque/boost problem if losing speed on hills.
Regards Philip A
More asking what the cars are Erving at in a given gear(4 and5)..... I seem to be down on revs...... Loosing power on hills and loosing speed on the flat 9 or 10 kpm ... Car seems to be reduced in its rev range....
Apologys on lack of clarity I'm full of oxicnton and various sedatives
Thanks for you're reply

It's a similar feeling to leaking injector seals hence the rev question .... My top speed is only 110( gauge is out so more like 105 kph....) perhaps it's time to douse it in petrol and flick a match in.......it's not just hills it's flat land to just more prominent on hills .... It's fine on steep dirt roads up to fourth gear....... I'll look at n lossen up the waste gate tonight and plug in the nano com and see what revs I get in each gear......( if I can get into the car that is)...... Would the fuel return valve ( being damaged possibly be depressurising fuel at higher revs??...... The no fuel but air through membrane be an issue... The membrane is gone due to being totally blocked so there's just the insert with hole in the return line?
Funny how mechanics crap out at the most serious times...it's like driving a hand grenade atm

SubscriberIf the fuel pressure regulator membrane was holed , diesel would **** out everywhere as it has a drain.
Perhaps you should look at whether your rubber pipes around the intercooler are delaminating.
See what boost you are getting on the Nanocom and if you have any errors.
It is not possible for the revs to change downwards at a certain speed , only to go UP if the clutch is slipping, unless you have changed the tyres for bigger ones.
Another possibility is a dying fuel pump.
Regards Philip A
No errors on nano com the fuel pressure reg is less than 4000 kms old and dry around housing ...... Now the inter cooler pipes look as if theve been there science new.... I had a look with them of the car and they looked passable but that's no guarantee... Also I may have not tightened them properly........ I'll try and crawl down stairs tomorrow and check again( I'm ok once I'm standing .... Bugger of a thing lower back and neck pain is)
Any idea of boost figures I'd be looking at or just at the rise with acceleration getting uneven?

Ok got out for a short drive with the nanocom
At 100 kph 2650 rpm ( flat to floor or backed off throttle..... Will rev over 3000 I'n 3rd geat)
Ambient 0.95 at. 2645 rpm ( 100 kpm on nanocom)
Turbo 102.95 at 2645 rpm
Manifold turbo pressure .028. @. 2645
Turbo waste gate 36.6..
No fault codes , what I do have at 100Kph is an idle speed error of 1961rpm
To clear it up a bit it won't rev past 2645 rpm in 4th or 5th not loosening revs just not Erving past the2600 2700 rpm

SubscriberI think you are mixing up some terms.Ambient 0.95 at. 2645 rpm ( 100 kpm on nanocom)
Turbo 102.95 at 2645 rpm
Manifold turbo pressure .028. @. 2645
Turbo waste gate 36.6..
There are not 2 measures of turbo pressure. This is the instrument screens from the Nanocom evo manual.
Screen 1
Engine speed(from ecu crank sensor)
Road speed( from ecu ABS sensors)
Coolant temp( coolant sensor)
Turbo pressure (from MAP)
battery volt ( ecu_
Screen 2
Ambient pressure ( on EU3 in air cleaner)
airflow( from MAF)
Air inlet temp ( EU3 from air cleaner)
Fuel temp( from fuel cooler or FPS AFAIK)
Your turbo pressure looks OK if a bit low at 14.5PSI
I have no idea what the other pressure you have mentioned is and there is only one sensor for turbo pressure.
Maybe revisit your test and read the instrument screens as per the above.
Regards Philip A
Rpm at 110( 100 on gps). 2870
Coolant. 89c
Turbo pressure.89 to .90
13.78volts
Ambient presure 99.2
Airflow 385 ( although goes higher w higher revs in 1st 2nd and 3rd)
Air intake temp 50. 7c
Fuel temp. 53
Egr 8
Waste gate 84
There's a discrepancy figure ( can't recall the name but on last page of nanocom. I'll have to rest up and I'll get its right name ......
Figure is 1667 ...
Car seems to rev over 3000 rpm in 1st 2n. And 3rd But foot to the board it won't go over that 2800 area.
Cheers mark
