    New Montelcino Red 90

I dropped my Keswick Green 110 off today for some warranty issues and we drove home in this, my wife's new 90.

    Absolutely love the colour.

Can't wipe the smile off her face.

    Thumbs up

Montelcino is an awesome colour. If I had chosen that colour, I'd be looking at a silver roof, which which would nicely set off the alloy wheels & brunel front?
    Any mods planned?
    Top colour, Pickles

This one is going to be our daily driver so apart from an Anderson plug, isolator & brake controller will stay stock. I'm building the 110 up to be our tourer.

I take it that it's a "gift" that keeps on giving then?

I dunno, total price for both was likely less than you could pay for a single speced up D4

    The colour is awesome.

As for cost, my wife hates driving to the point she will only drive when absolutely necessary. Once we got the 110 she fell in love with it and wanted to drive it all the time. When I said we would take the Defender at Xmas she said I had to let her drive and do some of the towing. With our Dmax in 3 and a half years I could probably count on one hand the number of times she drove it. So it was a pretty easy decision to make regardless of the cost.

Now we've got it she keeps relegating me to the passenger seat. In 21 years that has never happened

Is there any specific aspect that she really enjoys, or just the whole package.
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

The whole package. The Defender was her dream car as much as it was for me. From a driving perspective I think the fact that she's vertically challenged and the visibility in the Defender is a big plus.
