Defender wave - the wife has started waving!

This morning my wife drive my 110 to her gym and shock horror, when she got home she told me that as she drove back she saw a Defender driving towards her on Canning Hwy and before she could help herself she had waved and got a wave back!

The kids and I could hardly believe it. The wife/Mum doing the Defender wave!!

Anyway, the whole family is now converted. And as I was reminded by my 7 year old son soon he can have a Defender of his own and then we can wave to each other. I somehow think he hasn't grasped the fact he still has 10 years to wait.

I just showed this post to my SWMBO and she had a laugh.

I wish mine shared the passion.
    Dave.

I was asked " Is it ignorance or apathy?" I replied "I don't know and I don't care."

For the past two months she has been totally embarrassed with my waving to complete strangers. But the kids and I must have worn her down.

Also I have a slight advantage. When we met and started dating I was driving an old td5 tray back. The memories pre-kids and freedom probably took effect this morning.

Let's see if we can replicate the wave! Will report back.

Next she will be on the forum talking to Mrs HH about getting a Series,
By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.

I rashly assumed there might be one or two still not corralled

We were at the shops the other day and a bloke ran up to me and asked about my aux fuel tank,of course the conversation went on for 30 an hour and Tracey just shook her head, she's getting used to random people asking her about the X-Tech when she's driving. Pat
