I have these fitted and found them to be very good.
VM3 Series - Spafax
I have to replace my external passenger side mirror and after trying to source a second hand one from some one wrecking, I am now looking at the choice of an original for around $100 or the convex replacement on ebay etc for $30.
Has anyone had these convex mirrors? are they any good and what is the image like in them?

I got these ones from Mudstuff in the UK...
Defender XL Wing Mirror
They are excellent, straight bolt-on replacement for the standard items and much improved rear view. I was ordering a bunch of things from them (including their seat rails - also highly recommended) so the postage came to quite a bit in total but not much for each item if you see what I mean.

The convex mirrors are a menace. I cannot see any benefit in them over a proper mirror.
Another thumbs up for the Mudstuff XL mirror.
Takes a bit of getting used to the convex aspect, but the increased glass size and built in reduction of blind spots is a big bonus.
Cheers,
Lou

I had a look at mudstuff blindspot mirrors. There are quite a few negative comments about them being poorly designed and a bit flimsy. Apparently when you hit around 100 kmh an hour they tend to fold in.
have you had any issues with yours. I really like them and I am tempted.
oh and thanks for your response.
