I had this happen to my new my15 d90 before I'd even done 500km in it. Turns out a hose had split and all the gas had leaked out

I had the air con sensor replaced on mine under warranty - its located under the dash so they had the car for some time getting the job done - it seems to be a common problem. The bonus is that the air con is lovely and cool now!

First & easiest thing to chk. is the air connection at the blower motor coming from the intake vent. Mine had the seal out of place & engine heat was just pouring in. After refitting the seal it still wasn't sealing so I made another & added it, what a diff. that made. I looked at a brand newie & it wasn't sealing either!!!! But even with this done & heaps of holes in the floor & seat boxes sealed, the other day, 38 or so degrees, on a extended drive at 110k's I couldn't hold my hand on the seat mounting, the A/C was barely coping. Try keeping a boiling jug in the frig. & see if ya beer gets cold. I have just bought a Taipan ex. system & had the front section ceramic coated hoping this will improve things. Until that day I thought the A/C was pretty good.

Would it be best to take to a mechanic or aircon specialist?
