Has anyone either replaced the shuttle valve switch assembly on the Wabco ABS or conducted the option B repair like on the Disco?
I cannot find anything related to a fix for the Defender, though it has been discussed many times.
Reason I ask is the ABS and TC lights are pretty much on all the time now and wont stay off even after a reset. It seems the common fault is Shuttle Valve.
I have seem some discussions indicating that the Disco shuttle valve is the same, though manufacturers wont confirm. There are some post that indicate it will and for around $100 may be an option over a new complete unit.
Also wondering if there is a type B solution for the Defender, not sure how this would work as the Defender dose not have the Slabs ECU.
Cheers

I had my TC ABS and HB light coming on together randomly(2008 Puma) and after turning off would clear and come back , I had asked on this forum last year about it and upon checking what people has posted I checked all the connections to the ABS and also the earths , after that problem has disappeared. Not sure if it is relevant for you but thought I would mention it anyway in case it is that simple.
Good Luck
