There are a number of options from Safety Devices. They have a good reputation. Not sure of cost.
Land Rover Defender 130 Td5 4-door Double Cab High Capacity Pick Up Roll Cages | Safety Devices
Hello,
I have a custom made "roll bar" id you want to call it that on my 130. There are brackets welded to the chassis and it bolts to there. Im located gold Coast if thats any where near you if you want to have a look. Ill get some pics up tonight.
Anyway congrats on the 130. Is that the one originally from N.T but they moved to S.A? looks good either way.
Cheers,
Michael.
Here are some pics.
Cheers,
Michael.
In this pic you can see the angle has been welded to the chassis and capped at the bottom.
On the roll bar its self the square straight up and down sections (in line with the edges of the rear window) are what slide into the angle section welded to the chassis.
From there, there is flat bar going up from the chassis at 45 degrees and bolting to the bottom of the round tube of the roll over bar.
There is also bracing between the rear of the cab and the tray which is very hard to see.
As you can see there has been a bracket made for the hi lift jack too.
Cheers
Michael.

Thanks all, I'm pricing up some Safety Devices options and will see how it comes out. An initial thought is to use their front windscreen loop and have the horizontal supports extended back to the rear canopy hoops, but that all depends on price.
Thanks Andrew - could be very interested, sounds like just what I'm looking for, just I'm in Victoria. I'm going to see what the Safety Devices prices work out to be and how sturdy the rear hoops are and go from there. Depending on how that works out I might get in touch.
Thanks for the photos Michael - looks very good! I'm tempted to try something similar, based around the profile of the existing rear hoops. Actually if the hoops are thick enough I might see if they can be adapted with a cross brace and chassis mounts.
The 130 was in the NT before they moved down to Victoria about a year ago. But looking at the log books it looks to have spent its first few years in Melbourne.
cheers
Phin
I'm in vic too. Stanley is NE vic, about 2.5 hours north of melb. I'm planning to use proper roll cage tube, not just black pipe, and will be getting a proper bender for nice bends as opposed to bad bends from cheap pipe kinkers. Let me know if interested and I can explain what I'm planning.
Cheers,
Andrew.
