Wiring - is this even possible

We're trying to do wiring for a brake controller and are having trouble getting through the dash.

Is that the little hole that you feed the cable through and how do you get to the cable from inside the car? The other holes where the wiring harness goes through don't seem to have enough room to feed additional cables through.

Otherwise how do you remove the entire dash?

I came up through he base of my Ex-box for my trailer control wire so I can't help with the left side option.

However, on the right side you could use the same grommet that the harness and radio aerial goes through.
I just changed the aerial on mine and with the instrument cluster moved to one side you should be able to get the wiring through.
    It'll be fiddly but achievable.
    Cheers, Kyle

Found the right grommets on the passenger side. Can get the smaller wires through but having trouble with the 6mm twin core.

I passed a wire from the engine bay through one of the grommets near the heater tap, the grommets have a sort of 'nipple' on them, if you cut the tip of the nipple off you have an extra hole. Unscrew the speaker from below the shelf then lie on your back in the passenger footwell with a torch and you will be able to use a bent bit of wire poked up through the speaker hole to snag the wire after you've fed it in through the grommet, then pull the rest through.

That's what we ended up doing in the end. Glad to hear it has worked out for someone else too.

Now to connect everything up and finish the job

I brought the lead along the chassis rail and then up through a grommet into the battery box and then ran power along the transmission tunnel to the dash. I removed the plastic cover and drilled a hole in the lower shelf at the back on the passenger side, pulled the wires through, taped the exposed part to make it less obvious, then refitted the plastic cover to hide it.

I've done this. There's a rubber grommet with a nipple near by. I cut the tip off and stuck a really long zip tie through the hole.

Then from the from I put my arm through the "flap" that undoes with 2 plastic half turn screw things until I found it.

I don't think that little hole goes anywhere.
