    Depending on the vintage of your truck there might be a spare spade terminal on the back of the ignition that comes off the switched side. Just grab a multimeter and double check it

    An alternative approach is a TM4 temp monitor that takes the block temp and can trigger a fan directly, rather than measure coolant

    Electronic thermo switch

    Hi you can also buy an electronic temp sensor that you can fit to your top radiator hose by means of using hose clamps (no drilling or taping or cutting hoses) they can be purchased in varying temp settings from J Car for about $5.00 I used one on my old valiant on the thermo fans I fitted to it worked well.
