    Where to buy Key Blanks - 95 Defender - non RFID

    Anyone know a cheap place to get Defender Ignition and Door key blanks?

    I have a Tdi so they are not RFID keys.

    So far the cheapest I can find is:

    IGN
    SET 2 Uncut Blank KEY Blade Land Rover Defender British Leyland Maserati Lotus | eBay

    DOOR
    Land Rover Defender 90 110 Door KEY Blanks SET OF 2 Uncut Genuine NEW | eBay

    Which still seems expensive for a few basic key blanks !


    Can anyone steer me a cheaper way?
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    Have you tried your local key man ?

    I had two ignition keys cut for about $15 a few months back (maybe June '14), they are not 'genuine' blanks (they don't have the rubber end) but they do the job for a spare key.

    I *think* the keycutter at Kippa Ring (Peninsula Fair) did some for me. Some keycutters will even keep your pattern on file, in the event you ever lose all your keys.

    These guys have a wide range of automotive keys,blanks,etc.

    I used them a few years ago.
