Hi Louis,
I have a new 90 also, I don't experience what you are describing.
Hope this helps
As I get more insight from this sight than the JLR service manager please help.
When I break just before reaching a halt (or when coasting) as I release pressure from the brake pedal I every now and then get a GRRRhh sound from the foot pedals and I slight vibration and give in the pedal. (Thishappens when I have the clutch in )
What is this and has anyone experienced this before.
More importantly is this a problem or a Landy quirk?

I have a MY15 90 too and that doesn't happen to mine.
Ask them to take it for a drive so they can see what you mean.
Don't let them get away with telling you that it's 'Just Defender'
Maybe the ABS being activated when it shouldn't be?
What conditions is this happening under? Is it under heavy braking? As your cornering? Or just straight line driving?
It sounds like it could be the ABS, alternatively it could be the DSC if the wheels are trying to maintain traction. We have a roundabout near us that even at slow speeds because of the camber the DSC kicks in giving a bit of vibration when trying to accelerate. It doesn't do it with the DSC off but I can feel the wheels trying to slip. The 110 without DSC doesn't do it so I put it down to the wheelbase.

The hand brake does that if it's tightened too much. Pat

I have sort of the same noise and vibration, but mine comes when starting off, immediately after releasing the footbrake I get it occasionally.
Mike.
