My 09 2.4 gets at best 8.4/100 and worst 10.5/100.
It is re mapped and the EGR is disabled.
Cruising at the speed limit gets a tad under 10/100.

Where'd you get the remap/EGR done?

Bruce Davis from Davis Performance have done the re-map. At the moment the EGR is just unplugged but it is going in next week to get the EGR fault codes tuned out.

Exhaust was done as a custom 1 off from Liverpool exhaust, they have done all of my cars and always will. Chevy and his old man are fantastic and they love it when its the first one they have done.
3" exhaust and there is no noise or drone, sounds the same as standard as far as i can tell. lol
PM me when your around and have a listen if you want to.

It is one thing to compare fuel economy however there are many factors that need to be taken into consideration, tyre size and pressures, vehicle load, roof racks or not, driving conditions (city or country) and so on.

I range between 12.5 and 14lt/100 but that is on 33's, up to 180lt of fuel and 60lt of water, roof racks and I run comparatively low pressures on the road for a vehicle that weighs in at 3.2t and is set up for touring....... oh and that is on a 2.4lt, remapped with larger intercooler, radiator, etc and so on....

I understand that which is why i listed some of the mods that would effect my fuel economy to others Iain.

What size tyres are you running now? You had 35s with the portals.

Thanks Azza, I am running 285/75R16, the 35's were just a bit large for touring IMHO.....

I am getting just over 10lt/100km. Pretty stock 2014 110 on cross contacts. Last trip got 10.3 but I was going fairly fast - ie 115kph! My wife laughs that we now cruise at 100 to 105 nowadays!
