Thread: 6.1" Head Unit in 2006 Defender

hallo gents,

I'm over my Philips head unit with fold out screen and like to put a Alpine 6.1" head unit in. looking at the space I think it may fit, has anyone done it?

Hello,

I had the Lifestyle Store in North Parramatta install a Alpin 6" unit and new speakers. The customised dash to accommodate much bigger unit and did a great job.

So far very happy with the unit and no flip out screen which will rattle loose off-road.
