    New Puma engine Defender power??

It is 90kw and 360nm right?
Not according to a Defender owners handbook supplement page.
    It says Diesel engine (150)
    Power output kW(PS) 110(150) at 3250rpm
Maximum torque Nm 400 at 2000rpm
Is this correct, have Land Rover really increased the power of the new Defenders?

Interesting,..that would be the new "Celebration Edition" specs, but I don't think those specs apply to "ordinary" Defenders, unless you got a "special" one!!
    Still 90KW & 360Nm AFAIK.

Hmm I wonder if Land Rover have put the revised spec sheet by accident for all new Defenders instead of just the special editions? The other possibility is if these Defenders really do have 150 Hp..
I hope so Does anyone know for sure?

Did you deal with Lee? What are your thoughts on him?

He emailed me on Wednesday confirming that the Australian version will not be coming out with the 150 engine!

Just bought a Holden ute for work and must say that every car salesman have been totally useless, lack of knowledge on specification and just don't get back to you! I bought the Holden not because its the best ute or I got the best deal, I bought because the salesman returned my calls and new his stuff!

I would suggest that there is no way any "ordinary" LandRover will have the 150HP engine, which is only fitted to "some" 90 models of the Celebration Editions, (Adventure & Autobiography) is it not?

I wonder if the VIN number would reveal any secrets if punched into the decoder.

Land Rover VIN decoder - Lookup and check Land Rover VIN number and get options and specs for free. Search Land Rover history, price and car loans.

By all means get a Defender. If you get a good one, you'll be happy. If you get a bad one, you'll become a philosopher.
