Best spare wheel carrier and side steps?

What are the best spare wheel carriers and how much do they cost?
Also I am trying to decide between flip down side steps or the full length side step/ sliders. The long ones look great, but they are all very high and I cant see how they would aid someone getting in and out, any thoughts on this guys?
    Cheers

Can't help you with the fold down steps, but I've fitted rock slider side steps from Daniel @ Mulgo.
As for spare wheel carrier (I assume you mean one that takes the weight off the back door?) then you can't go wrong with a Rijidij carrier.
Both of them advertise on here and both Daniel at Mulgo and Murray (Rijidij) sell each other's products, so you can get both from the same place!

Rijidij for the carrier. My 90 is the grey one on the website. Get a jerry holder with it and you can carry 40 litres of fuel as well. This will save you getting a LR tank.

I guess they help a bit because the 'step' part does stick out from the bodywork, but they are still quite high up from the ground.
Daniel's sliders replace the thin metal bodywork strip below the doors, so if you use them as a step, they only marginally reduce the height you have to step up to.

Rijidij for the wheel carrier. And you can put a reversing light on too that goes onto the carrier. There's a pic on our build thread in the members rides area

I went for the Mantec rear wheel carrier and it was easy to fit and works very well, opening with the door.

Rijidij wheel carrier for me also. Great piece of gear!

Side steps, I have the factory side runners which are good for getting in and out, and also for limiting people opening their car doors onto yours. For strength and off roading, I'd get after market rock sliders.

Thanks guys I will get the Rijidij (what a spelling!!), how about side steps? Fold down or rock slider for getting in and out?
The inlaws cant get in (what am I saying that is a good thing ).
Seriously though I am 6 foot 3 inches and I still need to slide off the seat which is not good for the seat at all and it time it will get damaged so I want a step of some sort to prevent this.
