Lol yea, You also know your a Defender owner when you check your oil levels by looking on the ground.

Actually, ours doesn't leak oil (so far).

when you're stuffing your kids into it after swimming training and there's a lady taking pictures of it, exclaiming "What a great car. It's amazing."

...when you quietly smile, or deliberately get a rise out of non Defender owners who are desperate to tell you how problematic Defenders are, and/or perversely, how their vehicles are just as awesome 😄

"It's a 4x4" I remind myself as I mount the gutter on the other side of the road to finish the U turn.
