    Hi I agree with the comments on the oil filter , It's an easy change , plus only a few $$. you don't even have to drop the oil . Not sure if your fire truck has a service history ? I found when clutches wear the peddle gets lower . Back to service history , has the clutch been replaced ? TD5 are good on clutches , they usually do big ks before they let wear down . Even ones that have worked hard !!.. Jim

    It is good to know, but are you sure the peddle gets lower? Normally when a clutch is worn out the engagement is right at the top , then it starts slipping.

    Hi your are correct , as the clutch wares the peddle gets higher . If there's a leak then It gets lower . I must of been having a senior moment !!..
