    New aerial

I am needing a new aerial for my '94 110. What are people using as a replacement?

I was thinking there was a local company that made their own some where on the forum. I have searched, but to be honest, I must be rubbish at searching here. If anyone knows which one I am talking about, great.

    Thanks

Thanks for that Karlz, I saw them - and others, just wondering what people have used.

A few of us 130 owners have purchased replacement radio aerials from here.

Mobile One Antennas Front Door to website

Just make sure you get a spring base. well worth it

It was the 860mm long am/fm aerial with spring base. Just enough to clear the roof and help aid with getting into undercover carparks.

Great, thanks for that. I was wondering how high it would be. I have had problems before with those car parks

I called in to Camden airport and spoke to Peter at Mobile One about my requirements. He suggested MW1 antenna on M1P base. The antenna is good for am and shortwave, but also pulls in fm. It's 5' long which makes it pretty tall, but as it's quite flexible, it just flops out of the way. I'm very happy with it. At night I can hear ABC Darwin from Sydney area as well as a myriad of other stations.

That is very impressive Don, atm I have trouble getting anything in Jarrahdale (about an hour away from Perth - in the hills) I really have get a new aerial.
