You don't need to..
When the door is shut the Lock will actuate ok.
It's only there so the door doesn't blow shut with it down (locked)

						Hi guys
Have googled and can't find the info I am after.
I have a TD5 deefer with the annoying locks where you can't lock the drivers side door without pulling the handle it pushing the door open button.
As I am installing remote central locking, having to hold the handle to lock it would defeat the purpose.
Anyone know how to disable this?
Thanks in advance,
Joe

To prove it - wind window down..
Stand outside and close door
Reach in and push button down to lock door..
