    terrafirma +50mm kit any experience?

has any one used the terrafirma 50mm lift kit comprising of the shock and spring set? landybitz have them so thats easy. just wondering what the general consensus is on TF stuff. seem to see both praises and ewww yuck noooo lol.

After putting the 33's on im thinking of putting a 50mm lift on it. Would I need a DC propshaft for 2 inch?

On a Tdci you will definitely need a DC front shaft...

And **my** opinion. It's cheap stuff, it rides poorly compared to other options and I've seen a heap of failures.

Quality shocks and Quality springs is the go.

good quality suspension is a must I use the arb stuff just my preference, and I run a gkn front double cardon and gkn heavy duty rear terra firma is nasty stuff just my opinion, also have super pro bushes all the way through.cheers

X2 on the DC shaft. I'd recommend a Tom Woods, but make sure you get one made for your application, and not one that gets modified to your uses.
And I would avoid TerraFirma. Its cheap for a reason. If it's a weekend warrior being built on the cheap then its fine but for a quality build I'd suggest Billies such as the 7100, or if you're going more heavy touring applications something like the Koni Raids.

Ok... so you have a Puma, assuming you bought it new you paid what, 50 odd grand for it?

In what part of that equation does a set of sub-standard, poorly designed and made springs and shocks come into play? They don't.

The ride is terrible, the control is even worse, and the springs sag more than plums on a hot day. Terrafirma products are simply not fit for purpose. I've bought them before, and I won't even take them for free now.

    I even made a meme...

    Buy quality, buy once.

And to any TF retailers that have an issue with that comment, get in touch with me and I'll give you a lesson on ethics in business (it's been done before).

Was actually wanting koni raids as have been advised prior that tf stuff aren't great. What springs should I go for? Might just get dc anyway. Only want +2 but want better flex

If its good flex I'd suggest the 7100s.
Another option is Ultimate in Sydney, as they seem to do good stuff for most applications.
If you want to source your own springs I'd suggest Dobinson or Kings.

I wouldn't bother then, just respring the front to suit a winch/bar combo if/when you get one.
