In my view, it is a complete PITA! I have never driven a car, or needed a car, that has this feature to help with gear changes! It just gets in the way IMHO!
I learnt how to 'drive around' the feature after a while... if you change gear at 2700 - 3000 rpm, and are 'soft' when letting the clutch out, it seems to smooth out the entire jerky rev hanging process.
If I were to ever get a BAS or Alive Tuning upgrade, it would primarily be to get rid of this rev hold thingy!
