With the earlier bonnet on my td5 when it rains the water sits in the depression in the bonnet and sometimes it will flick back up onto the windscreen. Nothing dangerous but does the hump stop this...?

I made the bonnet wheel carrier over the hump, and I think I fitted long range tanks to that one too.

Re puma bonnet....

*Technically in the industry its called a Power bulge, previous to the TDCi (puma) Defender it was a reverse power bulge (who does that????) atleast now it is correct.

*Re spare wheel, my dad doesnt like the puma bonnet for this reason, its far too high to mount the spare wheel and is flimsier than a TD5 bonnet so it wouldnt support it very well.

*Ohhhhh stay tuned for puma bonnet chequer plate, once I have fitted our own designed & manufactured version to a test puma, I'll post pics. So far the design has got a lot of interest. On the practical side having the chequer plate guards and bonnet allows great safe access to a roof rack on a Defender.
